There is much talk about this book called “A New Earth by Eckart Tolle” In the beginning of the book he mention’s “not everyone is ready.” This is so true but on my journey of awakening it happened without me, being ready. You see when God calls you can’t hang up the phone. I know I tried. It was my time and I am part of this “New Earth”. The past few years I have met many wonderful new people. I have also had the pleasure of being with many great old friends (not meaning age). I have seen some things that is hard to understand and somethings that are so filled with love that will truly take your breathe away.
We all have a journey in life that brings many blessings and many tears at times. We try to figure out what is our purpose in life or what is going on in a situation. We read books, listen to tapes, go to seminars and do whatever we can to figure out life.
On my journey of many adventures. My life may not be a Indian Jones story but I have had many unbelievable tells. I have wrestled with my fear of snakes. Fought my inner fears, lived on the edge of the cliff of life and faced my one true self. I may not have went to India or Egypt to study but you would be amazed how much you can learn in your own back yard.
What I have learned is that by trying to figure out life we miss life. We miss the essence of the sweetness that life is holding before us. The gift of life that is presented to us that may not be wrapped in pretty or fancy paper. We miss the sound of joy that is the beating of our own heart.
On my journey of life I was guided to just see what the world holds dear. That in the end was only an illusion of the ego. It truly amazes me how the ego can trick so many of us in believing that life holds Secrets. There are no Secrets to life. Look at nature!!! There are no rules to life. Only mans belief in them. There are no true way of thinking that you must be perfect to create. That the universe, God or angels will only bring the things you think about. Do we really think that God expects us to be perfect in our thinking to create the things we want? We already are perfect in the eyes of the divine. If anyone knows that our minds are confused wouldn’t it be the divine that loves us unconditionally. Something to think about!!!
I don’t have millions or even a dollar at times. I don’t have the perfect body that this world thinks I should have. I don’t have the perfect relationships that we dream about. I don’t have the perfect life that this world talks about. But, what I do have is a life of adventures, a perfect body for me, a breathe to be grateful for, a heart that can feel love or pain when it is broken, and the courage to be me.
I have had many titles in life, I have traveled some and seen many things that really in the end is just called LIFE.
