Erin E. Doty resided in The Rocky Mountains of Colorado for 10 years after spending her childhood in Texas. She moved to Blacksburg, Virginia in August 2008. She received degrees in Nutrition and Journalism from Colorado State University in 2005. Erin’s passions are holistic health, educating, and writing. She acquired extensive work experience within the holistic health industry while working for Whole Foods Market and Vitamin Cottage in Texas and Colorado. From fall 2007 to fall 2008, Erin worked as a Nutrition and Fitness Specialist for The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Avon, Colorado located in the Vail Valley. At The Ritz-Carlton, she excelled in designing and teaching state-of-the art fitness classes, performing nutrition and personal training consultations, instructing nutrition lectures, and guiding outdoor mountain adventures. Erin is CPR certified, and she will attain her ACE personal training certification in 2009.
