    Forgiveness

Most people don't think they need to forgive anyone until the offending party ask for it. I don't think that is what the "Lords Prayer" teaches us, it says forgive us "as" we forgive others, and then Jesus set the example on the cross before any of them asks he said Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Even though this might seem elementary, my mind is leading to a thought pattern that I hope and pray and I can express in words, If God forgives you "anyone" who am I to second guess his decision, and of course we said forgiveness is for us anyway and not so much for them.

But now to be in-tune with God if He is forgiving you then I also should be forgiving you, so know how long is the longest time you held on to a grudge some kind of un-forgiveness, {We like to say they didn't ask for forgiveness} of course that is Not scriptural it clearly says forgive them so when God does forgive them, how long is it going to take me before I (WE) forgive them for if they are a new  creation in Christ then they are forgiven, So my conclusion is to forgive today, [as soon as possible] be preparing are hearts for forgiveness NOW so that when God forgives them I will be in the (Will of God) for if it wasn't the Will of God it wouldn't happen but being it did happen, They got forgiven" I am already in Position to be fore-giving just as God is fore-giving them.

1st. Forgive others so you will be forgiven vs. 6:15 Important word in verse 15 "not"

The Holy Bible, New International Version. Pradis CD-ROM:Mt 6:12.

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. r

Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, s but deliver us from the evil one.’ t

Mt 6:14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. u

Mt 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

2nd. Forgive others by the example that Jesus set before others on the cross

The Holy Bible, New International Version. Pradis CD-ROM:Lk 23:34.

Lk 23:34 Jesus said, "Father, s forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." t And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. u

3rd. Forgive others so you will be in the "Will of the Father"

The Holy Bible, New International Version. Pradis CD-ROM:Lk 24:45.

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. Lk 24:46 He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer l and rise from the dead on the third day, m Lk 24:47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name n to all nations, o beginning at Jerusalem. p

    Amen

Verse 24:47 forgiveness of sins will be preached, now I heard a good message one time, preach to everyone you see, USE WORDS IF NECESSARY so preach forgiveness and use words, “Proclaim it”

Not so sure about the verse for step three, but now today I'm in the motion for getting through the forgiveness, it is very had to forgive others and I have learned personally that when you are doing your Best to try to forgive them, and you know down deep in your heart that you haven't forgiven them, (YOU might be being nice to them, but not truly God felt forgiveness) I for me have found that Blessing that person in prayer, and if need be a gift of some kind, and tell God in prayer

"Lord you in my heart You know I haven't forgiven this person, and I fell that I'm trying to, Lord allow me to Bless this person, so as to start this process of fore-giving them for I know that only You Father God, can give me the strength to fore-give them, so now Lord as I give this gift please accept it as a offering for You Lord to take control, and give me the God heart I need to forgive them for it is your will, for I know it is in Your Word, Thank You Thank You Lord Father God

     Amen

that is what I'm working this very hour, for some things have happened that need quick attention. I fell for God has place these things in my heart, and I think I was suppose to be working on this awhile back maybe two months ago, but things are at a head now, and I'm trying to put scripture with it like I did the first part,

I know not on my time but "GOD'S TIME" it will happen, I praise God

But like you say "let the Holy Spirit lead me and put it in His Hands"

    Amen Amen

The Holy Bible, New International Version. Pradis CD-ROM:1Pe 5:7.

1Pe 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him q  because he cares for you. r

Update- 01/13/08  Life Ventures taught by Jim Harper

Accepting God’s forgiveness, we have to fully embrace (accept) God’s forgiveness for our own lives, so we can impart true forgiveness to others, as long as we are not receiving God’s forgiveness in our own lives we will never be able to impart forgiveness to others, we can only truly Love another person only through the Love that God has given us, we can only Bless others except that God has Blessed us first, and if it be out of our needs or out of our overflow we must first receive it to be able to Bless others, and as it is so with forgiveness, even though we think we have forgiven others by learning to be kind, learning to be happy in their blessings being able to give and not have resentment “which all of these are signs True forgiveness has occurred, If you think you are not worthy of forgiveness you have not accepted the Finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the One and only Living God, if you believe not you have not, if you have not you cannot give, therefore accept the forgiveness that God has given you, so you too, can freely give True Godly Forgiveness, and be at rest and peace that surpasses all understanding

    Key vs. 14,17,20,21

    Romans 12:13-21

13 Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
16 Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Try to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes.
18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone.
19 Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for His wrath. For it is written: Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay, says the Lord.
20 But If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink. For in so doing you will be heaping fiery coals on his head.
21 Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
