    Are You A Woman of Influence?

    Okay, I just got done with the second show. My good buddy and colleague Eardie Williams joined me to discuss what it means to be a woman of influence. We thought this would be a good way to introduce women to Women of Influence 2008. It's a network that will provide inspiration to women entrepreneurs and those who need some asssitance reaching their next goals in life.
    Time flew by...and the show went well. Eardie wrote a book several years ago entitled Daughters Come Forth. The book essentially encourages women of all ages NOT to believe the hype of the stereotypes some men and women, seem to place on being female. On the show Eardie also talked about the fact that it took her 37 years to discover her purpose because she NEVER dreamed BIG.  WOW! Now, much of her mission is about assisting young women in dreaming big and creating success.

    FIRST SHOW: The Secret Closet, AIDS and The African American Church Community

    I finally produced my first show today. It went pretty well. Had a few technical difficulties up top, but all and all it was a great show. My guests were 29 year Producer/Director Nicolle Whalen who recenlty produced the short film entitled The Secret Closet. http://thesecretclosetmovie.com She was joined by Actress Sherre Bishop who plays Henrietta in the film, the dysfunctional southern mom, former first lady who's son recently finds out he and his fiance both have AIDS, although they've never done drugs or had illicit sex etc... Pastor B. Dwayne Hardin joined us to give insight from a spiritual perspective on how the cover up and fear is affecting everyone, especially African American women who are the fastest growing victims of AIDS. It's definitely worth a part 2.
