Jaalah DuPont won a communications award and is continueing her education to become a speech therapist. Her goal is to improve communications between individuals in order to help people have better lives. While I grew up listening to opera and love experiencing new music, my first obsession was being able to communicate well. I think it is key to better relationships and can make the difference on how people treat you. Thank you for joining me. Getting the point across.

I think something has to be said about low self esteem. Too many women suffer from low self esteem. I think I love the arts, and want to help create dialogue about what is appropriate for our culture to thrive. But it has occured to me, many of our problems come from women who lack the self esteem to say no to strange men who come onto them. I have found myself tested in this area. And while I am not tempted to have a fling, I must say, I wouldn't be so self confident to say no, if I didn't know that I was loved. I didn't lose 64 lbs just to have a fling. I think relationships can be beautiful, but they need to be based on mutual respect, women can't feel loved by men who use them for sex and they repeat the same problems over and over again. I talk about society and culture and I see a need to bring women an awareness that they can have a life outside of a relationship and that men need to stop taking women for granted in order to have fulfilling relationships. Thanks for listening. Jaalah

I am writing to let you know that on 3-8-09 the show will discuss some great ideas I had for the show. Jersey Fresh Talent, I love doing this talk show. I love discussing ideas. And I hope some of my friends will join me in discussion. I haven't been able to get the interviews I wanted, but the response has been favorable to my monologue style. I come to you 64 lbs lighter and of a particular moral standpoint, that quality is better than quality. And although there are thoughts that we are in a recession, 92% of people are working and we just need to keep positive and not watch too much news. So for those who still have their job, rejoice. And for those looking, nows a good time to retrain. I hope you join me. Thank you.

There are lots of talk shows, lots of people to hem and haw about the bad economy, lots of people who talk about what Paris Hilton is up to and how many kids Brangelina have adopted. But if you want to discuss ideas about society, culture and entertainment and see what needs to be done to get people to think outside the box, while I always got excellent grades in school and know lots of trivia, I find it is hard to follow my dreams. I love the arts, especially music and art and would like to discuss these with you.

Jersey Fresh Talent discusses the brainwashing effect of constant media exposure. We are always being told what to think by advertisers and pundits and politicians.
