11/02/15 - New Energy - How will the U.S. Free itself from Foreign Oil?

How else can we say it...it's time to really consider ending our dependency on foreign oil.  Unfortunately, we are still buying oil from foreign countries.  They control the market because they produce the oil.  They also have entrenched themselves in an internal Islamic Holy war.   The only acceptable outcome for them, is total domination of their version of Islam.  Throw into the mix, China's and Russia's involvement in the Middle East.  How will they impact future oil prices?  Can we afford to be at the mercy of the policies of these foreign countries, just for oil?  Can we not find a way to not only produce our own oil, but also develop new technology to offset using fossil fuels?  What is the position of each party?  Solar, Wind, Natural Gas, Coal, Drilling, Electric, Hybrid, Hydrogen, Alternative, Nuclear.  Call in to share your thoughts and opinions.
