April Walker is an author, innovator, educator, counselor, advocate, mother and native of the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. As a behavior specialist, her mission in life is to address women's issues by traveling the world and speaking to women of all ages about safe guarding one of their most precious commodities, the heart. MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SKIN A DOG was an idea birthed a few years ago as a book concept that quickly grew into a powerful movement that would educate, inform, and be a central reference system for women – Skinadog.com. Signified by the Skin a Dog logo, the book and the website addresses the need for women to protect heart; to hold on to their values and raise the bar in their personal lives; and have privy to all the information necessary to make the right decision in dating and relationships.
