This was one of the best shows!!! Even though they are all great and thank you so much for doing the shows and helping all of us women who need answers that some doctors don't seem to fully understand. Again I say you are an angel here on earth!!! I only hope one day I can help someone as much as your books and shows have helped me.

If I had not listened to this show, I would have had no idea that taking oral estradiol or birth control pills could cause an elevated cortisol level. And although one might think that all doctors would know this, don't hold your breath. It's amazing how many doctors don't know about hormonal connections, so women have to take as much knowledge with them as possible when they visit a doctor. This is unfortunate, but it just points out how important this show is for women.

As usual, I learned so much from this show. This show allows women to talk to Dr. Vliet personally and ask for clarification on issues that are of great concern to women. Also, callers bring up issues that are very interesting and that in turn conveys even more knowledge from Dr. Vliet to women who are in search of answers that they can only get from her on this Radio Blog Talk Show. I can't say enough good things about this show.

I really wish that I could see you personally. I have lost all faith that there are any doctors here in Birmingham, Al. that can find out what's going on with me. I need some help so terribly bad. How is it one would come about getting to see you and would my insurance cover any of the visits with you? (Cigna) and where exactly are you? I am continually amazed at the misinformation that is put out there on hormone issues. And unfortunately the vast majority of women fall for it! Can a misfunctioning thyroid be misdiagnosed as Adrenal Fatigue. I am gaining weight but have most all other symptoms of AF that you described. They have just prescribed Armor Thyroid for me.

What supplements do you consider dangerous to take for adrenal support if you don't have AF?
