A listener wrote a message to me asking how one can determine one's genetic risk for ovarian cancer if there is a strong family history of the disease. I wanted others to have this information as well so am posting as a comment here. There are genetic testing and evaluation centers for this at Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska, and also at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond VA. There may be others as well, but these are two I have firsthand knowledge

I enjoy these shows and find them extremely beneficial. However, Blog Talk Radio seems to be having a lot of problems lately and it would be nice to return to their level of performance so more can benefit.
