    May 10, 2009 • 05:25pm Tronicity 11th St. Bar & Grill

So once again I walk into another venue where Tronicity is playing. Undrunk to visually soak in every speck and fleck of atmosphere. I stand off to the side by the door. Which is the best spot to watch and listen to this wonderful band. With the lights cascading down and Booter strumming his guitar, I feel that tingle inside my head, that yes this show is going to be even better than the last. I see many of the same beautiful woman from other shows. I see many people bobbing their heads along as they listen to the band play. I look as if I am a psycho staring at the crowd, but I am ingesting how they feel about this band. I take notes with my eyes then puke it back up in blogs. As the band starts to pump out Mustang Sally, the dance floor fills up. Couples in love dance it up, folks on a first date, dance close as they get to know each other. To keep the dancers happy they break into Brown Eyed Girl, cat calls of yeah man erupt, the band is grooving now. I see several women I could fall in love with for the night. As I listen and get into my own groove, soaking in the scene, I start to notice people staring at me. Which is very strange. The band closes for their first break. I step outside to smoke. Then "Keys" pops out to talk with me, the keyboardist for Tronicity. Mr. Booter soon follows. They both thank me for coming down, which is not needed cause I love their music. So after chatting with the guys they step back inside to get drinks. As we are pushing our way through the crowd it get to the bar, I hear from many people saying that's the guy with the radio show. I get red in the face, and very embarrassed from being noticed. To get to the meat and potatoes of this blog. Bobby Mack steps to the stage to do some songs with Tronicity. This set wrecked the frigging place. From Ice Ice Baby, to Biggie Smalls Big Pa Pa, to Baby Got Back, and the whole place jumping. I was so pumped up, the dance floor was paced, was non stop action on stage and with the crowd. If you ever come to the Quad Cities you can not miss out on seeing Tronicity play.
