Welcome to "Health is Wealth with Dr Jewell" live Talk Show hosted by Dr Susan Jewell, a successful national TV network Health Expert (she recently appeared on Fox news, NBC, CBS and ABC), a Corporate Spokesperson for many major companies, a published writer for www.eHow.com. and CEO of Jewell Productions and Jewell TV, companies she formed to promote and support her humanitarian and health projects. The "Health is Wealth with Dr Jewell" talk show invites various experts from the fields of medicine, complimentary and alternative health, green healthy living, humanitarians, celebrities to talk about their experiences, knowledge and insights on how to improve the quality of our lives and help contribute to the betterment of the world. Dr Jewell is a British born bilingual Asian with a British accent she can speak Cantonese and is currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupunture to expand and broaden her field of expertise to intergrate western and eastern medicine to improve healthcare and to teach the global communitites how we can utilize this paradigm change in looking at health and diseases by integrating both philosophies and concepts to help improve our lives. Dr Jewell trained in clinical research medicine in cancer and AIDS/HIV at National Cancer Institute and UCLA School of Medicine, She received several awards and fellowships from NIH, notably Cancer Research Training Award and the National Scientist Research Award.

    Dawn McCarthy and the publisher Anne, talks to host Dr Jewell about the very successful magazine, Your Health Connection,(YHC) which is the only health magazine dedicated to healthy lifestyle and living in Ventura County and parts of Los Angeles.     "No More Tears " board member Dr Laura Finley talk about protecting abused women

    Dr Laura Finley is a board member of the non-profit organization "No More Tears". The organization is "focused on helping immigrant women in the United States who are victims of spousal abuse. Many of these women are brought to America via arranged marriages and are scared to speak out against their oppressor due to the ramifications they will face in their home country or for the fear of being sent back. No More Tears works with these women in helping to provide them with legal counsel, financial assistance and psychotherapy. We help with these women in not only wiping away the tears, but also making sure that there are No More Tears!" Laura Finley is the Founding Mother and Director of the Center for Living and Teaching Peace. She is also Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminology at Barry University and a trainer with the Children’s Services Council of Broward County. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Western Michigan University in 2002. Prior to that, she was a high school social studies teacher in Michigan. She is author of numerous book chapters and journal articles, and has authored or co-authored seven books on topics related to peace, human rights, and social justice. She is currently under contract to co-edit a volume on feminist activism and to edit the Encyclopedia of School Crime and Violence.
