Choosing the Perfect Tuxedo for Your Wedding

Joann Ambriz is the President and CEO of Formally Modern Tuxedo.  A graduate of Purdue University, Joann has been in the tuxedo business for over 30 years.  After growing a local tuxedo company to 27 stores, the ownership decided to sell to a large conglomerate. Joann & her partner Brian Schellhase decided to open Formally Modern to keep the small business alive and customer service as the fore front of their growing company.

Joann completed the Harry Friedman retail sales program and then became an instructor for the program. She was also involved with TAG America group, a collaboration of wedding industry (bridal & tuxes) from around the country who's purpose was to improve the industry by improving the product and customer service offered. Joann has received several awards from the Schaumburg Business Association as well as from The Taylor Group, which is the largest wedding invitation manufacturer, for Business of the Month or Year.
