Psalm 118:8 "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." KJV

You would think that Christians would know to trust in the Lord by now. The thing is that each time we learn to trust Him, our situations change around us and presents us with a whole new environment. We panic because we feel like we can't handle new changes and we run for the "reboot" button instead of renewing our minds and continuing to trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5,6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

When we "trust", we are giving of ourselves into something that we believe that we can depend on. Who better to trust in than God? If we keep pouring our hopes into other people, there is going to come a time when we feel an emptiness that only one source can fulfill: GOD!

Giving your trust to man means in one sense that you are fleeing to them for protection. How do you know whether or not they aren't running as well. Now you are running alongside the person who you had put your trust in, who is also running. So, who are you all running to? If it ain't God, then you are in for quite the marathon.  Yes, the Word talks about bearing each other's burdens.

But how about:
1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

Look. God ain't running!!! You can give Him ALL of your cares. He will take care of you and for you. And He will also take care of that other person that you gave your trust to if they will cast their burdens over to the Lord. You have got to put your confidence in God. You have to confide in the Lord.

You certainly don't want to give place to the devil. The world does not want you to trust God.
Don't loose sight of God's will for you life. Trust in God. Put your faith in God.

NO ONE ELSE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU LIKE THE LORD.
