Literature Review

Chapter 2 of the Dissertation process - techniques to help you with disseminating, analyzing, and synthesizing information.

Dr. Wanda Gwyn (Florida)

Dr. Kimberly Handy (Alaska)

Dr. Nicole Antoine (Texas)

Dr. Petra Roesner (Hawaii)

Petra’s dissertation, titled  “Beyond the dojang:  A phenomenological perspective on transferring the virtues of Taekwondo into daily life,” allowed her to focus on two areas of interest:  Taekwondo and moral and character education and development, which resulted in the finding that the Taekwondo culture can be a model for ethical leadership and followership.  Some of Petra’s other areas of interest and expertise are women’s health, child and adolescent development, and research methodology, qualitative research in particular.

Bring a pad and pencil to take notes on how to improve your Chapter 2 in your qualitative or quantative dissertation.
