Today we discuss our Relationship to Food with Lauren Golen. Food is a Mirror for our Relationship to Life. Lauren Golen received her training in Health and Wellness Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories. She is also the owner/operator of Bikram Yoga of Delray. "Through my own experience, I have discovered that compulsive eating and perpetual dieting are things that go way beyond body image, food and weight loss. The relationships that we have with food are a direct correlation to the belief systems that we hold about what we think we deserve to have in our life." The Zen Tea & Qi House, a concept created by George Xavier Love to create a conscious community of Tea drinkers who avoid alcohol, caffeine and nicotine. George is an Acupuncture Physician for thirty years and manifested a space to teach Zen meditation and Medical Qi Gong. His own relaxation therapy is drumming, music and dance. Combining the two loves turned into a seminar workshop space and a conscious community of cultural healers.
