Discerning not just observing Devils

This gift has to do with the entire class of spirits, including good spirits, (angels) bad spirits, (devils or fallen angels) and human spirits.

“The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place,” (Psa. 68:17).

The gift of discerning of spirits is spiritual insight into the spirit world where there are divine spirits as well as evil spirits.

The discerning of spirits can be manifested to reveal three kinds of classes of spirits: angelic, demonic, and human.

“For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty…” (Rev. 16:14).

“He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them,” (Psa. 78:49).
