Malachi 1:13 "...And you have brought that which was taken by violence, or the lame or the sick; this you bring as an offering."  "But cursed is the [cheating] deceiver who has a male in his flock and vows to offer it, yet sacrifices to the [sovereign] Lord a blemished or diseased thing...." "If you will not hear and if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to My name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yes, I have already turned them to curses because you do not lay it to heart."

Lev.1:3 "If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord." Deut. 15:21 "But if it has any blemish, if it is lame, blind, or has any bad blemish whatsoever, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God." They offered the sacrifices that were not clean, and God did not accept their offerings;cursing them not coming  with the offering He required according to the law.

"Religious"; rituals; unrepentant; no fear God; preached deceitfully;not preaching truth; turning away from the Lord; no longer keeping His ordinances. Mal. 3:9, "You are cursed with the curse, for you are robbing Me even this whole nation." Then the Lord instructed them to bring their tithes and offerings into the storehouse and the curse would be broken and the Lord would rebuke the devourer and they would receive a blessing from the Lord that they could not contain.”
