Pain is such a simple word, BUT IT’S SOMETHING ELSE. The problem with pain is that what people think it means is not really what it means. The electrochemical signals generated in our body as a response to injury get transmitted along nerve fibers to our spinal cord and up to our brain, where those signals are processed and become the experience of pain. The fun part is that it is more associated with promoting healing that it is with avoiding injury.
