Today of the Healthy Mind and Body Radio Show my special guest is Joelle Renstrom, who is a published author and educator teaching AP Lit and Comp and World Lit at the Boston Collegiate Charter School (the essay about Freedom and Absurdity in the classroom reflects this experience). She also teaches writing and research at Boston University. Her classes focus on science fiction and robotics.
Who better to talk to about creating something that doesn't exist that someone you teaches people to imagine a future or alternate universe that doesn't currently exist with in our current known experience? Joelle has a book (collection of personal essays) coming out in November 2014. It's called Letters to Ray Bradbury and will be published by Aqueous Books. Some of the essays in the book have been published separately:

Her blog, www.couldthishappen.com and hosted an event related to the blog last year.
She thinks and writes about how the physical act of traveling helped me psychologically and emotionally process the grief, which is another mind-body connection. She has also published some travel-related pieces. (see above in complete publications)
