If you live in Texas, you may be aware that we have this annual “THING CALLED SUMMER”. Yep, that overbearing, oppressive, blistering heat that almost knocks you down when you go outside or causes you to re-think to leather seats you just had to have when you bought that new car.

Now, if you’ve been listening to the show and started training since January you may have noticed it has pretty temperate for North Texas. Now the temperature is starting get up there and it’s time to start making adjustments in your training times and what you’re eating. This isn’t just about comfort and convenience it’s about safety as well, the Texas summer can really hurt you if you aren’t prepared or you’re dehydrated.
