Hi, I am a Natural Healing Consultant/Chiropractic Physician. My interests are anything to do with health, nutrition, and anything natural! My intent is to lift and inspire others to come to optimal health in all aspects of their lives.
Date / Time: 3/4/2009 7:48 PM UTC
Hello,
Due to technical difficulties, I couldn’t get on the phone lines last week. It would either give me a busy signal or dead air. Finally a friend was able to get on to start the show and I came on as a listener. As a result of getting on late, the show didn’t record. The sad thing was there were 500 listeners!!!
I will redo the Woman’s Hormones Show next Wednesday so it can be recorded. Plus, I feel there is so much information that it could bear repeating.
So, in the meantime, I will post my thoughts about the subject from last week.

Here is the link to the chart: http://snipurl.com/femalecycle
Starting on day one and looking at the bottom of the chart we see a mountain of red sloughing off. This is to represent what is happening to our endometrial lining. So from day 1 to day 7 it sloughs off. Then from day 7 through 21 it builds up some more then begins to stop building on day 21 and begins to break down then slough off again on day 28 which is the same day as day 1.
The egg is released on day 14 and then travels down the fallopian tube. By day 21 it should be out in to the uterus and if it has been fertilized then it will implant itself on the endometrial lining. If it isn’t fertilized by then it dissolves. If it had implanted it would then release a hormone triggering the ovarian cyst that released it to continue to produce progesterone. If the ovary doesn’t receive that signal then the cysts dries up and stops producing the progesterone so that by day 28 the progesterone stops and the period begins.
DAY 1
Looking up at the graph of hormones we see starting on day one that there is a slight bit more of estrogen (blue line) then the other hormones. That blue line begins to build about day 7 slowly coming to a peak around day 11 then sharply sloping off on by day 14.
There is a small amount of Progesterone also going on day one, unlike LH and FSH which are practically nil. Progesterone doesn’t start to build until day 14 where it slowly builds to its peak at about day 22 and then slowly builds back down to very little on day 28/1.
On day 1, there is very little LH (luteinizing hormone, green line) nor FSH (follicle-Stimulating Hormone, red line) There is a slight peak for both of these around day 5, then a bigger peak at day 13 and 14. Notice that LH from the pituitary goes off a ½ day to 1 day earlier then FSH from the Thyroid. Then they go back to very little during the second half of the period.
Looking at the temperature guide, (note this is done with a Basal Thermometer in the armpit as soon as you awaken in the morning and before you get out of bed) the body temperature has a slight dip when estrogen begins to peak, a slight rise at is peak and right before LH and FSH begin to rise then a dip again when the egg is released then it rises in the same curve as the progesterone. Watching your body temperature can give you a huge clue if the timing is wrong with the pituitary gland and thyroid or with ovulation.
So if you are not having periods and are supposed to be or if your timing is off with ovulation or LH or FSH then follow these instructions to simulate what you want your hormones to do during your cycle so that your body will begin to get its signals better due to the essential oil or product that you give your body at that time.
Day 1-7
Between day one and day 7 take a little bit of clary sage or one of its blends, Lady Schlereol, Dragon Time or Sclaressence. I mean put only a drop or two a day on your ankles if you have a headache, nausea, or depression. If you are having cramps take marjoram or calcium, omega blues or vitamin A or a clary sage oil first and if that doesn’t work then a little bit of progesterone at a time until the cramps quit.
Start using clary sage or blends on day 7 like two drops on your ankles and start building it up a drop a day until the peak where you can take several more drops or smell it or even take some by mouth. IF YOU GET A HEADACHE OR ANGER DURING THIS PEAK STOP TAKING CLARY SAGE AND USE A LITTLE BIT OF PROGESTERONE TO BALANCE OUT THE ESTROGEN. You can also take some Juvatone to assist the liver in destroying the excess estrogen. Estrogen Dominance causes anger. Whenever you have anger for no reason, then take a little bit of Progessence at a time until you feel better.
Day 5-7
Take one – two sprays of Ultra Young Spray in your mouth and one Thyromin each of these days.
Day 8-12
Build up Clary sage or blends
Days 13 and 14
Stop taking the clary sage or blends on day 13. On day 14 use a little bit of Mister Oil on your ankles and smell it. Mister Oil can cause rage so don’t overdo it. Again if you get angry then use Progessence to balance it out.
Take Ultra young Spray+: 2 sprays in each cheek three times a day and take two Thyromin at night.
Day 15
On day 15 take a ¼ tsp of Progessence cream. Rub it into a new spot every day adding a little more Progessence cream until by day 21 you are taking ½ tsp of Progesterone. In a ¼ tsp of Progessence cream there is 17 mg of natural Progesterone. An average healthy woman produces between 15 mg and 25 mg of progesterone daily. The best place to rub the progesterone cream is where you seen veins through the skin. (The back of the hands, the neck, the crease of the elbow, behind the knees, around the ankles etc.)
If between days 15-28 if you are angry, sad, weepy, headachy or have any other hormonal symptoms take more Progessence cream. You can take up to a tsp a day. I would just add a little bit through out the day until your feel better.
ON DAY 28
STOP THE PROGESSENCE CREAM!!! This should send a signal to the uterus to shed the lining. Don’t use the cream again until day 15 if you can or after day 7 if you need it for anger. (Try vitamin A first to support liver or other liver supports.)
Day 28 is the same day as Day 1 so start counting again as if your period started. If your period starts before day 15 then start counting all over again counting day one as the same day as the starting of your period.
Repeat the cycle. It might take 3-6 months before your cycle straightens out and your period begins.
If after three months you still haven’t had a period then take Super B and Trace Minerals and Omega Blues every day to support the adrenal gland and increase the amount of Ultra Young Spray and Thyromin. You may also want to take Prenolone Cream duing the peaks of the cycle to support the adrenal gland to make more hormones. The Prenolone cream can be used during both halves of the cycle.
Menopausal women.
Since you don’t want your periods to begin, then start just working the peak days like this:
On day 3-4 support the pituitary and thyroid with Ultra Young Spray and Thyromin as above.
On day 9 or ten give yourself a little Clary sage of clary sage products building it up to day 13 a little at a time. As above if you are getting angry or hot flashes then stop the clary sage and add Progessence to balance it out. Taking liver support like Release oil, Juva Cleanse or Juva Tone can also help take care of excess estrogen.
If you are having a lot of estrogen deficient problems like low libido or dryness of the vagina then support the adrenal more during the first half of the cycle. Also use more Thyromin and Ultra Young Spray to see if this assists these problems.
Day 19-23 use more Progessence around this peak. If you feel like you need more then next month work day 18-24 or 17-25 etc.
Only use Progessence during the first half of the cycle if you feel you are estrogen dominant and need to balance that out.
The adrenal is now the organ making estrogen as well as all other hormones so make sure that you support that. To support the adrenal gland use Super B, Mineral Essence, Nutmeg, Clove, or Endoflex, and Cortistop. You may want to add Prenolone Cream to the peaks of the cycles to support the adrenal in making more hormones.
The pituitary is what is causing water retention. The thyroid and adrenal is what is causing weight gain. So support those organs. The thyroid and excess estrogen is what is causing heat problems. The thyroid is what is causing chilling problems.
Facial Hair is either two much testosterone or the adrenal is not being able to convert androsterone to estrogen. So use more progessence for a few months and support the adrenal daily with Omega Oils, Trace Minerals, Super B, Nutmeg, Clove or Endo Flex, Endogize or Thyromin.

This information does not have anything to do with Young Living Oils nor any one affiliated in it but is purely from the experience of the doctor writing this blog. If you would like more information to know more about your personal hormone cycle please contact me at www.talktodrleanne.com and order a personal consultation. I will then send you out a symptom survey to see what organs may need nutritional support. In the next few weeks I will be able to send out a hormone panel to be able to see exactly what hormones are being released on what day in your body. So watch for it on my site!
