Rise Up was written and and recorded by a 1980's Canadian pop band called The Parachute Club. (I love my fellow Canadians! Hehehe!) This song seems very prophetic to me in regards to the energies and spiritual revolution that we are seeing in the world today.  It seems that they were setting their intentions to create the utopia that we all want! As their most popular song ever, I believe they brought the listeners together in co-creative manner and wether intentional or not, they had the effect of raising everyone's vibrations!

There are several aspects of this song that have deep meanings for me. Rise up and say, show and share your power are are all very powerful statements in and of themselves. This to me is about taking back our power that we have given away in fear. To do this we must first realize that we have given our power away by believing that we cannot change ourselves, our situations our our world. In truth, all it takes is one choice and your life can be changed in an instant! Anything is possible! Once you reclaim your power, show others how they can do the same by being the change you wish to see in the world. Then share this reality with everyone and you will see the changes happen before your eyes! :)

In the middle, they artists clearly ask for what they want to create. This is how we can all create the things we want in our lives! The intentions clearly speak for themselves! Power, Freedom, Love, Laughter, Peace. They also refer to our children breathing new life into this world. Such wisdom for an 80's pop band eh? They also talk about creating a land of our dreams, which are extra lyrics that I couldn't find on any other versions of the songs. Amazing how this version came to me first! :)

In the chorus they refer to dancing into the sun, which brings me back to our lost connection with nature, the sun and the heavenly bodies that surround us! What a celebration it will be when we are all reconnected to out roots once more!

My favorite parts are the phrases "Spirits time has come", "Woman's time has come" and "Everyone's time has come". Then they repeat "It's time, it's time' it's time"! Yes my Family, our time certainly has come! The feminine energy is returning and it is time for Us to create the world that we have always wanted and deep down inside have always searched for! Anything is possible once we make the choice to take back our power!

So I will play this song to continue and fulfill the intentions that were set almost 30 years ago now. I hope that you will also focus you energies on these intentions with me as they affect us all separately and as One!
