Lavelle is a passionately prolific Writer, Producer, and Recording & Mixing Engineer (among other things) who currently resides in the city of Los Angeles. Originally from Rialto, California, he began his musical journey as a Producer thanks to his cousin’s introduction of FL Studio. Upon graduating high school, he then went on to study Recording Arts and Entertainment Business at Full Sail University and received his B.A. and M.A. respectively. Within that time, Lavelle fell in love with engineering and thought it would be his primary love. But soon, he discovered his undeniable knack for both writing and rapping. His melodic muses of both past and present times, include Outkast, Missy Elliot, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes to, Chance The Rapper, and Childish Gambino.

As an individual with zero limitations, ambiguity and eccentricity are a big part of who Lavelle is and he puts that into everything that he does—especially in a creative sense. Known to many as “the voice of the ‘ambiguous’ people,” he and his lyrics strike chords within anyone who has been drifting in the haziness of transitional stages amidst a cookie-cutter society. Through his one-of-a-kind (but at the same time, universal) tunes and ambiguous nature, Lavelle aims to bridge the gaps between people via the cohesive nature of music.
