Join me in welcoming Jim Richardson Jr., an inspirational songwriter with a gift of reaching people's hearts with his words. Jim is a proud member of Dreamcatchers For Abused Children and has written and donated songs to us over the years. Jim's gift of songwriting was handed down from his father, now passed away. Jim's family are all musically inclined and have the gift of music running through them. Jim's songs about abused children send a message to the world that no child should ever be abused. No child should suffer at the hands of those that should be protecting them, caring for them, and Jim's words from his heart ring loud and clear about the worldwide issue of child abuse, poverty, neglect that children face. He allows us to hear the children's words, and to feel the children's pain as he "becomes" their voice thru his songwriting. Jim recently let me in on an amazing bit of news, as he advised that Recording Artist Ria will be recording his song titled "Don't Be Afraid" for Dreamcatchers for Abused Children. This is awesome news!! Please see Jim's MySpace and look for more of Jim's inspiring music in the future. With no plans on sitting back, Jim will continue to use his gifts to help children, and people through his gift of music.
