Formation and treatment of cancer is a topic of interest for cancer patients, survivors, scientists, and caregivers. The neurological activities and gene regulations associated with the breakdown of immune system have long been considered relevant to psychological stress and cancer. Research studies confirm influences of depression and anxiety on cancer and its potential remission.
 
People often have the worst health fears about cancer as they have the idea that it is the end of the life that they know. They may either feel helpless and hopeless, or desperately seek changes in their life styles. Such states of mind or attitudes are the topics this program.  
 
Dr. Daniel Sadigh and his associate, Parisa Amirmostofian , will be discussing the psychological effects of cancer on patients, their caregivers, their families, and especially on their children.
