Hypnotherapy can be used to identify and neutralize the underlying causes of practically any issue or challenge.  It is done as a solitary process or complementary to Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, traditional medicine and other treatment modalities. Hypnosis enables people to perceive things differently as it brings more awareness to blockages, limitations and reasons for behavior.  As your body relaxes, your thoughts become more focused allowing information that has always been in the subconscious mind to be reachable in a new way.

In a hypnotic state, you feel physically at ease, yet mentally you are fully aware. Any person of normal intelligence can be hypnotized for therapeutic purposes and can benefit from the identification of limiting beliefs and perspectives. Hypnotherapy is often linked with creating behavioral changes such as stop smoking or weight loss as well as overcoming phobias such as fear of flying. It is also used for issues like anxiety, depression, cancer, eating disorders, chronic pain, relationship challenges, sexual dysfunction, substance abuse and low self-esteem.

Join Dr. Sadigh and his special guest Meredith Locher, MA, CH, ?Certified Master Hypnotherapist in A Moment with Self for a discussion on how Hypnotherapy can help you overcome your challenge. Ms. Locher holds a Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is certified as a Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is trained in and uses an advanced process of Hypnotherapy that is very different than most forms of hypnosis being practiced today. You will learn about the varying forms of hypnosis and how hypnotherapy can remove the old subconscious barriers, acting like the ultimate anti-virus program for the mind.
