Pastor Candace E.Hardnett

Pastor Candace E. Hardnett has a tremendous passion for God’s Word coupled with an unyielding love for God’s people. She has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of her ministry. Her desire to truly be a servant in God’s house and to His people proves beyond measure, that there are still Pastors out there that have not been tainted by society’s tenet but infected with God’s agape. Having received her mandate from God, Pastor Candace, dutifully fulfills her calling as Senior Pastor of Agape Empowerment Ministries. Candace knew without a doubt that God called her into ministry as a Pastor at the early age of 4. Under the careful Christian guidance of her grandmother, (Deaconess Ada M. Hardnett), Candace attended Providence Baptist Chruch in Remington, Virginia. It was there that she was baptized and grew to love God and His word, cultivating her knowledge and developing the skills she would need in ministry. However, Pastor Hardnett knows the hurt and pain associated with the separation from Christ. At the age of 12 after undergoing sexual abuse she began to dabble in the occult. For nearly six years Pastor Hardnett disassociated herself from Christ and Christianity and was a devout Wiccan. It was by the grace and mercy of God that she was delivered from the hands of the enemy and emerged stronger and more powerful in her faith of Jesus Christ. She has truly seen the face of the enemy and knows first hand the redemptive power of the Savior.
