Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-49; John 20:1-21:25 Have you ever thought what it would take for a group of women to come together and go and see about the needs of another person? If it had been Jesus, I am afraid we would not have made it together. I realized that the women who went to see about Jesus must have had a real Sisterhood. They went together, not one ran ahead, or one stayed behind because they could not walk together, but they went as a group to see about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am sure they did not have time to ask who would lead, who had a degree, or who was anointed or appointed. They did not wait to receive a vision or hear from someone with a Word from God, these women just went. That is what Sisterhood does, they go and see about the ones they love for they know that together they have strength to overcome all obstacles. These women were not afraid for their lives, although the Roman soldiers were watching the tomb and patrolling the area, Sisterhood gave them power, “together we stand and divided we fall.”
