Born in New York City, Danielle began her acting career at the age of 7. For six years, she played the role of Raj's bratty sister, Dee on the 70s and 80s shows What's Happening and What's Happening Now.

Danielle now lives in California where she is a veterinarian. She has written a journal of her life called "Through The Fire...Journal of A Child Star".
