  Dr. Sally Witt intervivews Janet Long The world of massage and healing is exceptionally vast and it has opened a world for Janet Long that is a life long journey. Health and fitness had always been a passion of Janet's. For 6 years she taught aerobic classes, been a personal trainer, and helped run Johnson & Johnson's Wellness Programs. But, with a Bachelor degree in Business I felt I should be "moving upward", so she entered the financial field. As a Client Relations Manager, she learned to be comfortable and relate to all types of people. But, over time she found herself growing farther and farther away from her "true self". The things that were important to her were no longer being honored. Because of this discrepancy, she began having recurring panic attacks and was frequently sick. This was a turning point in her life.   It was during this time she started dreaming of a place where people would be cared for and nourished to live the healthiest and happiest lives they could. Janet began studying massage in 1998 and became a full time therapist in 2001. She currently has over 2,000 hours in massage training and over 5,000 hours in practice.
  
  Although her work in 1998 focused on Deep Tissue therapy, her year long course at Health Choices in 2000 was much more comprehensive. She learned dozens of massage styles and techniques. But, most importantly, she learned how to listen and respond intuitively and integrate all her skills to meet the client's needs.
  
  It was Janet's dream to provide a place where people from all walks of life could find refuge from their daily stresses. She has proudly created In Balance Center for Living in Hillsborough, NJ, a Wellness Center where people can come to surrender their daily burden, feel the warmth of caring and learn how to take better care of themselves once they leave. The Center offers yoga classes, massage therapy, Acupuncture, Reiki, workshops and many other healing services and special events!

  Arlene Radasky lives in the small town of Goleta, situated next to Santa Barbara, California with her husband and two cats. She has two grown daughters and two grandsons.

  She has traveled extensively, following her husband on some of his many business trips. Ancient history has always been a love of hers and after seeing two bog bodies, one in Denmark and one in London, their voices pooled together in her imagination to form the story of The Fox. She believes she has lived many lives and can feel other voices coming to the surface. The Fox is her first novel and she knows there will be others. She has had fun recently writing several short stories for HorrorAddicts.com and has dabbled with a few poems.

  She is now doing research for her next novel, Sea Hawk, the story of a woman born in Skara Brea, Scotland about 5000 years ago and her life's adventure.
