Ofer Mazar experienced a taste of American teenage life when his family emigrated for a couple of years from Israel to Los Angeles, during which time he attended Beverly Hills High School. Ofer served his military service in the I.D.F., went on to complete his Ph.D. in American Studies at the Hebrew University and is currently an Israeli career diplomat. Ofer is also a musician.
