Missed the show again?!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a problem - listen to it now ;-) In response to a listeners question, we discuss Health Alerts.
One of those questions that I received was from Liz.
I often receive emails that warns me about some medicine and they would always say it was on Good Morning America or CNN. I never see these warnings and I do listen to the news I wonder how true they are? How can I tell if its true?
Health Alert: conveys the highest level of importance; warrants immediate action or attention. (Flu epidemic, West Nile Virus, Meningitis, TB etc. New strain of a disease)
Health Advisory: provides important information for a specific incident or situation; may not require immediate action.
Health Update: provides updated information regarding an incident or situation; unlikely to require immediate action.
Health Info Message: provides updated information; requires no immediate action.
I want you take this information and use it let it become a part of how you do you do things. You find a car that you like – you get on the internet , you buy a magazine or you just look at the brochure - you read all about it as with anything that interests you. So come on and put your health at the top of your list. You are worth so much more.
