In watching TV this morning, the show was interrupted for breaking news. A semi-tractor truck slammed into the median wall. The semi broke into flames immediately and the driver was instantly killed. I couldn't help wondering as I was listening; if the driver had the opportunity to know the Lord and accept Him as his personal Savior. In Paul's epistle to the Corinthian Church, he tells us a mystery," We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye". Paul further tells us in this same epistle, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." This will be our main topic of discussion. Many of us are walking around with the attitude that in time, I will get myself right and establish a relationship with the Lord after I live my life a little. When in fact your priorities should be the other way around; establishing a relationship with the Lord and accepting Him as your personal savior should be first because we may not have the time that we think that we have.
