Raven is a teenage author and motivational speaker from Greenville, SC. At 16 years old, she graduated from high school number one in her class with a 5.1 GPA and is currently a junior in college at the age of 18. The former national gymnastics champion publisher her first book, On to Victory! The Winning Edge, when she was just 11 years old. A few years later, she published Double-Sided, a publication dealing with race, peer, and parental relations. Double-Sided is in the process of being adapted to a feature film. Because of her many accomplishments, Raven has been awarded 3 "Raven Magwood Days" in her honor. She believes that if one is dedicated to something they love, determined to work hard and disciplined to plan how they'll get there, then they can achieve success.
