Friday October 23, 4pm until 5pm CST, Mary Willix a clinical hypnotherapist with an academic background in romance linguistics, general linguistics, Spanish, French and Italian. She taught college-level Spanish for more than 30 years and also served as an interpreter for the State of California. She is the author of Clear and Simple Spanish (1986, Simon & Schuster). Mary works with clients who want or need to speak a second language quickly, accurately, and she uses hypnosis to accomplish this goal. Mary has promoted the benefits of hypnosis since the age of eleven when she was hypnotized by her uncle, a dentist who taught hypnosis at the University of Washington Dental School and used it in his practice. She is a graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Los Angeles, a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the American Hypnosis Association. She has a private practice near Boulder, Colorado
