    Downtown talk update

We will be airing next Saturday.  If you are in the Cleveland area I recommend checking out Blakxtraploitationism.

'Blakxtraploitationism' is a group art show on racial diversity.  It features two artist that I interviewed on this show, Mr. Julius Lyles of Lylesart.com and Ronald D. Clayton.  I was able to attend tonights opening of the exhibition.  I can truly say that I am expressed with the exhibits.  Very thought provoking and intriguing.  I was able to talk to Mr. Clayton and with his lovely daughter Heather C. Clayton.  Some images were disturbing, but in a good way.  To make you think about social issues that need to change.  Mr. Clayton work is remarkable to say the least.  He paints on refuse, usually plie wood and things that would be consider some what useless, but he's able to make masterpieces out this material.  Mr. Julius Lyles art never disappoints.  Always challenging us to reevaluate who we are and where we stand with ourselves.  Blakxtraploitationism: A Visual, Social, Political, Racial Interpretation," opens with a reception from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Asterisk Gallery, 2393 Professor St. in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood.   If you missed it yesterday you can still check this exhibit out for yourself.  Exhibition open to the Public: April 11, 2008 ~ May 3, 2008.  For more information call these numbers 440.339.2204, 330.304.8528  I will playing audio that more than likely you have not heard.  You don't miss the next show because you won't believe what audio I have.  I won't give it away, but I will play it next week.  You can't miss this next show.                              Damon Alexander Darius Combs
