Do we live in a society that conditions us into a world of competition?  Is this truly the best format for humanity and the only way to move forward in life? What are the new paradigms in today's world that create truly successful businesses such as Google and Facebook? We will be discussing this and Peter Thiel's book Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future with special guest Gary Acosta co-founder of The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Gary Acosta is the co-founder and CEO of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and a 25-year veteran of the housing industry. NAHREP is the nations largest minority real estate trade association with over 20,0000 member and 35 local chapters. 

Mr. Acosta also founded or co-founded several successful mortgage real estate and companies including Prado Mortgage, New Vista Asset Management, CounselorMax, and RealEstateEspanol.com. In 2013 he co-founded The Mortgage Collaborative, a cooperative of mortgage companies who work together to increase profitabilityand market share.

Mr. Acosta is a member of the consumer advisory board of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a newly created federal agency responsible for consumer protectection in the financial services industry. He served as 2014 Chairman of the mortgage committee. 

In 2003, Realtor Magazine named him one of the 25 Most Influential People in Real Estate and in 2004, Hispanic Business Magazine named hom one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in America.
