As a caregiver it can be easy to feel that you've been discarded by life. How are we to find value as caregivers?

In the chaotic life of a caregiver it can feel like we are totally out of control. But we really have not lost it. We are still in control of our responses and our souls. We are still in charge of guarding our hearts.

As caregivers we can get so caught up in caring for others that we neglect our own needs. But the scripture tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. This means that we must love ourselves to love others properly. Let's take a look at... more

It takes work to "be still" and it takes effort to hang on to His peace. He gives it freely, but we have to conscientiously purpose to hold on to it. The days of caregiving can be hectic; but it's worth the effort to find His peace.

Caregivers cannot often get out to go to traditional church. This devotion explains that we do not have to go anywhere to be with God. He is with us in our situation not located at a distance in a church building
