Betty Ebeling ran away from her small town of Sedro-Woolley, Washington at sixteen years old to go live with her father, an outrageous used car salesman, in Los Angeles. Before long, she found herself in the midst of Hollywood and its celebrities, eventually marrying a future Academy-award winner. Now, Betty Marvin recounts her journey from that young girl to the woman she is today in Tales of a Hollywood Housewife: A Memoir by The First Mrs. Lee Marvin (iUniverse). Today, Betty Marvin lives in Santa Barbara, California, and spends time during the winter in her sand castle on the coast of Baja, Mexico. At eighty-one years old, she continues to remain active and is busy designing environmental structures, making conceptual art, painting and writing. She is available for interview.
