"Big Band Files with Doug Miles" New Year's Eve Show

On this New Year's Eve special edition of "The Big Band Files with Doug Miles" we salute WNEW 1130 radio, which went off the air 20 years ago (1992) with some vintage airchecks of Jim Lowe's Music Hall featuring Jim Lowe playing some great American Popular standards. We'll also hear the longtime host of the "Make Believe Ballroom", William B. Williams in a segment from an interview he did with Frank Sinatra in 1986.

No New Year's Eve show would be complete without a visit with the "Rat Pack". Frank, Dean and Sammy appear with a few minutes from their famous nightclub act.

We cap it off with Mr. New Year's Eve Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadiens and Auld Lang Syne.
