DaveJones, Brother Drew and Sillyputty make you laugh....and think. This week....and in the future (DDR) Well, we have a load of things coming down the pipe. I may have said that wrong. BUT, we have some exciting things on the way. ~Indie Band Sink or Swim~ Some of you have heard a little bit about this. But, basically....we have a unsigned band send 2 mp3's to doubledradio247@yahoo.com and we will play them and give our opinions on them. We will be plugging the bands myspace and/or website either way. ~Win Brother Drew's Money~ This will be a game show....need I say more? ~The Sillyputty Roast~ This will be coming up near the beginning of November/end of Oct. ~Miss Double D Radio~ We are thinking about doing a second "Miss Double D Radio". So, if you are interested...let me know. We make it a monthly deal. ~Comedian of the Month Club~ Details coming soon! So as you see, we are working for you SOB's. If you have any questions...ask away!

    Indy Band Sink or Swim....wanna be heard on Double D Radio?

    Here at Double D Radio we pride our self's at getting (local) indy bands out to you the fans. As we continue to do that, *Sink or Swim WILL continue to be a huge part of our show.

    *SINK OR SWIM: This is where a indy band sends us 2-3 MP3's and we listen to them LIVE on the air. Then after the song is done playing we give our oppinions on the songs. After allk 2-3 are played, we decide if we will be adding them into our rotation of bands/songs that we will play on Double D Radio. All bands played will be plugged by us giving out the website and/or myspace link on air abnd in the chat room.

    By the way, if you are in a band and want to be a part of this....send 2-3 MP3's to DoubleDRadio247@yahoo.com Make sure they are marked with band name & song title.

    BUT, we are also starting "FEATUED BAND OF THE WEEK". That band will be featured at the end of the show. We will end that show off with 1 song from that band. When we do this, that means that this band gets Double D Radios FULL SUPPORT AND BACKING.

    Also, if you would like to have your gigs plugged LIVE on Double D Radio, just send me a message to this myspace. We will pug as many as we can. So, let us know so we can get the word out and help local bands thrieve. We have a great music scene in this area. And sometimes just getting the word out can help. SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!
