Colonel Zygmunt F. Dembek, PhD, Chief, Education and Training, Operational Medicine Department, Division of Medicine, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, will discuss the main biological agents of concern to the warfighter, with a focus on how to recognize symptoms of exposure and treat those affected. The knowledge about these agents is translated into information that has real-world application for those who treat our service members and is offered in a course entitled "Medical Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties," taught by the world-class experts at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.
