Episode #46: Air Force's RIVERINE Deployment

Col. Scott Van Valkenburg, the Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern) command surgeon, will discuss the Air Force's first "RIVERINE," a medical deployment for training involving doctors partnering with the Peruvian Navy and ministry of health to provide medical care to citizens along the Amazon river. In addition, the colonel will highlight upcoming Air Forces Southern medical deployments across the region, new initiatives planned for 2009 and his team's recent successes in Latin America.
