Don't Give Up on U! It is your right and responsibility to live your best life...Be all that God has designed you to be...It is impossible to become something you have never desired to be! The dreams/desires you concieve in your heart are GIFTS/TALENTS given to you by God. These gifts/talents hold the key to your blessings in this lifetime. Many of us find it difficult to walk in the blessings of these gifts/talents. There are countless reasons as to why we are living BENEATH and not IN the blessings of our gifts/talents. Diligent research and careful observation has unveiled the number one reason why gifted/talented people remain underdogs in their lives. The reason is lack of support from family, friends, etc...Some of us are spoiled to the core with unlimited encouragement, acceptance and love from friends, family, co-workers, etc....the people with the most support usually excel in their lives!...On the other hand some people are not so plentiful when it comes to the support of friends, family, etc..Don't miss the understanding here..it is not so much the amount of support that is imperative..rather the quality of the support that is important! I have met a few people who had more talent in their pinky finger than most of us have in our entire body but, their lives were medicore and on the verge of destitute because they had no reliable source of support in their lives.... But, is this a reason to give up on U?....NO!...Upon figuring out how GREAT YOU ARE...you must get busy acquiring what it is you are lacking in your life in order to REAP THE BLESSINGS OF YOUR GREATNESS!!... Finding out what is holding you back will be the deal breaker!

Although I continue my routine of norms....attend the university, report to the job, keep the boat of day to day sailing along....I indulge myself with visions of rising above the cycle! After a day of traditional routines....I take time out to feed my spirit by putting on a SPECTACULAR CONCERT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY LIVING ROOM!!....I go back stage to my walk in closet and sort through my COUTURE WORDROBE and select the most amazing SHIMMERING SHORT SEQUENCE DRESS and slide my size 7's into a GORGEOUS PAIR OF SILVER MANOLO BLAHNIK SHOES....put on my makeup and style my hair grab the remote control (a.k.a..MICROPHONE) pop in my PATTI LABELLE CD and GET THE PARTY STARTED!!!!!!.....RUNNING HOT! RUNNING COLD!...I WAS RUNNING INTO OVERLOAD IT WAS EXTREME!....SOME HOW THE WIRE UNCROSSED THE TABLE WAS TURNED NEVER KNEW I HAD SUCH A LESSON TO LEARN...I'M FEELIN GOOD FROM MY HEAD TO MY SHOE...NOW WHERE I'M GOIN AND I KNOW WHAT TO DO...I TIGHTENED UP MY POINT OF VIEW...I GOT A NEW ATTITUTE....WHEW! WHEW!...WHEW! WHEW! WHEEEEW!...I GOT A NEW ATTITUDE!

What great fun pursuing the dream!!!...Intense anticipation waiting to see if this is the moment that changes my life....the following month (March) got the CALL BACK...didn't recognize the number...checked the voicemail a day later and it's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT offering a second audition!!...OMG!!!!!!....Drove to Miami for the second audition...TOTAL MADNESS....PEOPLE MORE PEOPLE THAN THE FIRST AUDITION! Magicians, Acrobats, The violin triplets...I call them the BLONDE BANDITS!....A 7ft drag queen impersonator, you name it...I saw it!!...Auditions were long and grueling arrived at 7am did not audition until 4pm....OUCH!....IT WAS WORTH EVERY HUNGER PANG I SUFFER WAITING FOR MY MOMENT...Today is May 27, 2009 and the last day of call back to confirm an offer for the show is between July1-10....Soooo, I am still hanging on to HOPE!...I can't say it enough...going for what it is you want makes you winner....sitting on the stoop doubting, and watching your life go by reaps in sorrow and regret that you did not have the courage to try!!!...There something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try!
