  Taurus New Moon
  

  Astrologers look to the sky for symbols and meanings reflected back on earth in our human interactions and existence.
  
  Astrologers have the unique blessing to understand the language of astrology. You too can be your own astrologer.  Learn astrology and you will understand the messages from the universe that will help you have the life you were born to live.

  Every year when the new Moon arrives we have the opportunity to manifest the promise of the chart of that new Moon.
  What the universe is asking us to learn for this Taurus journey around the Sun is to seek the foundation of security from within, starting with self, be willing to stand up for what you want and need.

   

  We are being challenged to transform our values and relationships in a deep and meaningful way. With Pluto in Capricorn (see past article) and the fundamental shift in consciousness on the planet is demanding that we take a look at what is truly important in our lives. It is time for us to work and spend our life energy on what is important to us; not on what we have been seduced to think or believe we need in order to be secure and safe.

  
  We now have the opportunity to reinvent what brings us joy, pleasure, and security. Meditate on the deep sense of I AM. The inner presence that tells you all will be well. Listen for your inner intuition that will guide you towards what you need to do to be and create all that you love and enjoy. Know the difference between what you think you need and want and what is supportive for your personal and spiritual transformation. The vibration of Taurus is very helpful to acheive deep states of meditation, as Taurus is a fixed earth sign, we can sit still for longer and settle into meditation.

  
  Mercury has entered its shadow will be in full retrograde during this cycle, May 7th until the next new Moon. Mercury begins its shadow in Taurus, rethinking our issues around abundance, and stations in Gemini, shifting our ideas to the mind and communication. The message is a new way of communicating about what we love, need, and value.

   
  The more that you meditate on the sense of I AM, the inner sense of security, connect to your inner knowing that you have everything you need, all your desires are met on time and in abundance. Create a set of affirmations for abundance and self confidence.

  
  In Taurus the gift will be to create something tangible, artistic, and luxurious. Go for it.

  What this energy is asking of us:

  1.)    Get your finances handled. Figure out how much you need to live the life you want and just get it handled.
  2.)    Set time aside for abundance affirmations. Pull out your old books and tapes on manifesting. Make the effort, rise above negative influence and stop self sabotage.
  3.)    Check out your credit rating for free; get one of the reports, the other 2 during the Scorpio New Moon cycle.
  4.)    List what you want, Taurus is about having, write out your desires. Create a list of 12 things to buy, do or have over the next year. Ideally they will connect with the 12 zodiac signs, Taurus with art, and beauty, garden, Gemini with learning, Cancer for home; Leo: adornment, Virgo: health; Libra for relationship, Scorpio for investment, research, spiritual transformation; Sagittarius for travel and learning; Capricorn long term quality; Aquarius: new innovations, electronics, Pisces contribution towards others, music, cameras, camcorders, fish bowls, water fountains; Aries: ruled by Mars, so athletic equipment, adventure equipment and let your imagination run wild. Then every month pick something to buy that adds value to your life.
  5.)    Connect with nature, go on a picnic, and walk in the woods.
  6.)    Plan events for concerts and arts festivals.
  7.)    Get a massage
  8.)    Be in touch with your body, what is it asking you to do for it?
  9.)    Meditate on true security, how can you trust that all will be well? See the cosmic joke and play of consciousness in all of life.
  10.)  List and acknowledge resources in your life, what is available to you??? Write a list of a least one hundred ideas of resources, from your body and mind, to your personal treasures and friends, to county, city, country and world resources that you can experience and use.
