Rod Jones is an extremely busy and sought after individual. His vast experience encompasses a plethora of technically-based manufacturing industries. Rod has defined and led many successful initiatives; below are just a few of his many accomplishments.

• Executive Director of the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC). 
• Director of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada
• Chair of the Canadian Aerospace Associations Human Resources Alliance (CAAHRA)
• Chair of the Steering Committee for AERO-Canada (the Canadian Aerospace Industry Capabilities Database)
• On the Advisory Board for the Ryerson Institute for Aerospace Design and Innovation (RIADI).

Rod is the President of the Canadian Manufacturing Agility Forum (CMAF), a not-for-profit industry organization that is leading the Manufacturing Advancement Partnership (MAP) initiative to enable manufacturing SME suppliers to ‘move up the value chain’ and compete globally.   

In the aerospace industry, his knowledge and strategic insight was developed through general management of aerospace SMEs and the active leadership in industry associations and related organizations at the national and provincial levels. 

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and earned his Master of Business Administration degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
