To establish that man must work in order to inherit eternal salvation, by the scripture, what Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians, should be more than sufficient. He wrote, “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13).
This book discusses salvation from sins and works to attain eternal life. (The following is on P-45)
The work that Christians do is a result of allowing God to work in and through them, in carrying out his will for their lives. Those who fail to do the work of God, by not allowing him to work through them, loose their own salvation. In the Day of Judgment God will judge those that should be saved based on their works (Rev. 20: 12-15).
