Join our round table discussion on how we can slow down this deadly practice.

Today whales and dolphins are in peril and are stranding on our beaches more than ever before. Dolphin Talk Radio will be interviewing experts and activists in the field trying to spread awareness of the ever increasing man made sounds affecting cetaceans.  Seismic testing in search of oil and gas is on the rise. Simultaneously the global military and naval training operations are increasing the use of underwater acoustic devices such as sonar and underwater charges.

In every instance permits are needed for both the energy industry and the military to carry out their projects and war games.

You can visit NOAA and check the permit that are listed as open: http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/pr/permits/incidental/
