Today, I want to share my thoughts on the death of Trayvon. Trayvon was a young kid walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood.
He was going to the store to get skittles. God help us all!
My heart goes out to Trayvon’s parents. Not only knowing their son died, but knowing he was killed because he was black and wearing a hoodie. I can’t imagine how scared he was. It makes me heartsick.
In my books I write about justice and stopping abuse. There are many forms of injustice, prejudice, racism and hate. When will we find tolerance and open-mindedness?
