The Role of Photography in Dentistry with Dr. Johan Figueira

Doctors of the USA welcomes Dr. Johan Figueira, dentist-owner of Esthetic Dental Project USA-Venezuela, to talk about what’s the role of photography in the field of dentistry. Listen in as he shares the critical factors in making photography in dentistry a success: communication with your patient and team work.

With a natural curiosity and desire for knowledge combined with his innate talent, Dr. Johan Figueira has a passion for creating natural, beautiful and luminous smiles. Following his graduation from the School of Dentistry at the Central University of Venezuela, he attended Indiana University to learn the English language. It was during this time that Dr. Figueira was presented with the opportunity to train under the world-renowned Dr. Pascal Magne.

Dr. Figueira is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Venezuelan Society of Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials. In order to keep up with the constant evolution in the field of esthetic dentistry, Dr. Figueira continues to attend interdisciplinary courses to maintain his edge on delivering the best restorative dentistry. When he is not working on his many research projects, he is likely practicing photography and Photoshop with masters such as Scott Stulberg and Scott Kelby. All of which is done in an effort to improve his skills in “Digital Smile Design and Treatment Planning” and to provide the ultimate restorative care for his patients.
